How to Order

At The Local Meadow, plants are thoughtfully sourced from trusted regional growers who share a commitment to pollinator health, ecological integrity, and neonicotinoid-free practices.

Because we do not operate a traditional storefront, ordering works a little differently — and allows us to offer a curated selection of high-quality native plants.

How to Order

Step 1: Browse Available Plants

You can download the spreadsheet and email it, share a link, or simply email us with your requested plants/kits.

Step 3: Order Confirmation
You’ll receive an email confirming your order total, estimated delivery date, and payment instructions.

Step 4: Delivery or Pickup
Plants are delivered directly to your home or available for pickup in Grafton.

Minimum Order

A $75 minimum order helps ensure we can efficiently coordinate sourcing and delivery.

Order Together, Grow Together

Native plants have the greatest impact when grown across a landscape.

You are welcome to combine orders with neighbors, friends, or family. This makes it easier to meet the minimum order and helps create connected habitat for pollinators.

We’re happy to coordinate delivery to one location.

Plant Sourcing

Plants are sourced from carefully selected growers in Massachusetts. All are neonicotinoid-free.

Most are:

  • Native to our region
  • Local ecotype (59 or adjacent ecotype)
  • Pollinator-supporting species
  • Grown outdoors in natural conditions

Because plants are sourced in small batches, availability may be limited.

Timing

Plants are typically available for delivery in May or June. Some may be available earlier (in April), and some may be slower to pop up. We will keep you informed about estimated delivery times.
